Mixing fashion, art, antiques and food, a new concept store called the Lekker Kkoncept Store is turning heads in Paris. Located at 35 rue des Trois Frères in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, Lekker is the result of a collaboration between two entrepreneurs names Sophie and Solène. They wanted to create a welcoming boutique space as an antidote to the elitist and sterile environments of high-end shops that make costumers feel uncomfortable
At Lekker, everyone is invited and they can enjoy the four offerings of the boutique: unique fashion pieces for women and men, original art exhibited on the walls, antique furniture and china, and a dining experience to satisfy all cravings. The art exhibited in the shop changes every three months, as a range of young artists are selected to contribute. The menu has been created by chef Julie Basset, who have conceive small plates and dessert dishes using in-season ingredients. The food is served in a cozy tea room where visitors can feel right at home.
As for the fashion, shoppers will find brands such as Le Bestiaire, Grünt, Pavé, Unfold, Toucan Bleu, Wanted Gina and Ultra Tee. Along with clothing items, jewelry is also on display.
Until mid-June 2014, a street artist named Xare has the honor of exhibiting art at the Lekker Kkoncept Store. Not only has Xare conceive spray paint creations applied directly on the walls of the boutique, the artist has also created spray-painted frames that are available for sale.
Guests staying at the Résidence Henri IV can therefore shop for art and clothing as well as grab a small bit to eat at the Lekker Kkoncept Store. The eccentric boutique offers the perfect escape for those seeking a space with character and warmth.
