From 14/04/2014 to 25/04/2014
A stadium called Charléty, which was established in Paris in 1939, is offering visitors the chance to participate in some very exciting activities during the month of April. During this time, the stadium will transform itself into a big-top circus inviting participants to try daring circus feats themselves.
The activities will be monitored by certified trainers, allowing children to safely take part in various circus workshops that include juggling, acrobatics, balancing, circus makeup, unicycle riding and more!
The flying trapeze will provide thrills and encourage the dexterity of those who dare to try it. Other thrilling feats will also be available to try. For example, a zip-line obstacle course tests the fitness of challenge-seekers while the trampolines are perfect for little ones who simply want to jump around.
The activities are open for children and young adults ages 3 to 17. In addition to physical challenges, there will also be go-karts and Wii games. Entrance to this circus event is free, so families staying at the Résidence Henri IV should not hesitate to check out the action.
The tale of the Charléty Stadium is quite interesting as the stadium was demolished in 1989, after a long history that even passes through World War II and the hippie movements of 1968. It was rebuilt in the early 1990s, and now the stadium is better than ever, offering the city of Paris a hub of athleticism.
With such a wide range of adventures available, the whole family can be entertained at the Charléty Stadium (Stade Charléty), located in the 13 arrondissement of Paris. The stadium will be open from April 14 to 25, 2014. Visitors should note that the stadium will be closed for Easter on April 20 and 21.
