Le Fumoir
Upscale brasserie behind the Louvre
Set opposite the Louvre, between the rue de Rivoli and the church of Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois, Le Fumoir is one of the busiest and most trendy cafes in Pari. Its large windows, sofas, leather armchairs, cocktails, books and international press make it an ideal afternoon meeting place.

The Twilight of the Pharaohs
Masterpieces of the last Egyptian dynasties
This is the first exhibition to be devoted to the treasures of the last dynasties, during which various crises and invasions opened Egypt up to a range of influences. Over 100 artefacts, on loan from the largest Ancient Egypt collections in the world demonstrate the breadth and diversity of Egyptian art after the last Ramesses Pharaohs. Discover the last millennium of the Pharaohs Outstanding art Sculptures, reliefs, sarcophagi, death masks, items of worship and jewellery from tombs and prestigious temples are some of the many examples of art from this period, which combines elegant proportions, delicate forms and sparing details. Proven technical mastery and a strong taste for clean lines produced outstanding art of unrivalled perfection, especially with regard to statue work. This was a time of economic prosperity marked by encounters with other cultures. It saw the construction of large monuments celebrating the greatness of Egyptian culture.

BNP Paribas Masters Series
The French capital’s second biggest tennis competition
The BNP Paribas Masters is an annual tennis tournament for male professional players held in Paris. The event is part of the ATP Masters Series on the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Tour.
Here the happy past winners of the event are none other than Boris Becker, Stefan Edberg, Guy Forget, André Agassi, Marat Safin or Pete Sampras… the 2012 contenders will no doubt be Djokovic, Nadal, Federer, Monfils, Tsonga and the title holder Robin Söderling.
So if you would like to have the honor of watching tightly-contested duels in the vein of epic encounters like Leconte/McEnroe in 1988, Forget/Sampras in 1991.
